Happy Friday you guys! Sorry you haven’t heard from me since Monday. I am the world’s largest procrastinator and waited until the last possible minute to finish 5 assignments that were due Wednesday. I didn’t even end up submitting them until yesterday morning and I’m crossing my fingers my teacher didn’t notice 😉 But anyways, because we went to Dallas last weekend, I didn’t have time to prep blog posts this week, hence why you only got one. This might be the pattern for the next month or two while I finish up school and my thesis, but my goal is to at least post twice/week.
What is everyone up to this weekend? We don’t have too many plans, but tomorrow we’re going to check out a new farm to get raw milk and local meat. We thought we found a great farm a few weeks ago, but each time we went we got the weirdest feeling from both of the owners and finally decided to google this place. Turns out, they were in jail last year for neglecting 200 horses on their farm and not taking care of their cows and goats. 200!! I was so sad, and so mad at these people. I will never understand anyone that can purposely hurt an animal. SO, it’s off to find a new farm. Farms are abundant in Texas, which is a huge reason I love living here. Eating local, good quality food is so important, and it’s easy peasy when you live in Houston. I’m also taking pics of two of our good friends and their pup on Sunday. Can’t wait to share some of them – such a nice and cute little fam.
